Ingredients
- Chorizo
- Onion
- Smoked Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Jasmine Rice
- Chicken Stock (Bouillon)
- Jalapeño Peppers
Making Chorizo Rice
Fry the chorizo
In a big frying pan, add chorizo slices. Keep it at medium-high heat, and let it cook until it releases all the fat, and the edges are crispy.

Add the mix
Remove the chorizo and add the onions to the same pan. Once soft, add the jalapeno slices, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

Add the rice
After a minute, add 2 cups of rice to the pan and stir in with the mix until it coats all the grains. Pour in 3.5 cups of chicken stock. Stir everything and lower the heat to the lowest setting. Cover with a lid and let cook for 8-10 minutes (check the rice instructions).

Serve the Chorizo Rice
Once cooked, reintroduce the chorizo and stir it in. Plate with an optional slice of lemon and/or olives.
