Pop tarts are a universally known snack. You, I, and everyone knows that we can toast’em, freeze’em, and even take’em right out of the packet to eat’em. But did you know that you could turn them into an ice cream sandwich? Keep reading to find these three alternative ways to eat a Pop Tart.
S’mores Tart
Yes, you can ditch ye olde graham cracker and use your pop tarts instead. To make these wonderful s’mores, use a chocolate bar and some marshmallows. All you have to do is toast the pop tart and cut it in half. Then place a piece of chocolate on one of the unfrosted sides. Afterwards, place a toasted marshmallow on the chocolate, and cover with the other half. A fantastic twist on your traditional snacks.
Pop Tart Ice Cream Sandwiches
Don’t you love those cookie ice cream sandwiches? Well, here we have a great way to switch up the snack. Simply place a Pop Tart upside down and scoop a couple of tablespoons of ice cream on it. Use the second Pop Tart to top and close the sandwich. Add topping, syrup, or sprinkles to the ice cream before topping the sandwich.
Pop-and-Shake
A great way to eat Pop-Tarts is by drinking them. A Pop Tart can make a tasty milkshake even more delicious. To do this, add a cup of milk and 1½ cup of vanilla ice cream to the blender (or a bowl, for you, hand-blender warriors). Cut a Pop Tart into pieces and introduce them into the blender. Blend until smooth and add more milk (to loosen) or ice cream (to thicken) until you get the desired texture.
