Here at American Food Mart, we have brought you three new Tostito salsa flavours to dip in your Tostito Tortilla Chips. To our Salsa con Queso, we’ve added a mild salsa, a spicier medium one, and the brand-new Avocado salsa.
Why call it avocado salsa and not guacamole?
The primary difference between guacamole and salsa is that guacamole is a dip made with avocados, while salsa is a dip made with tomatoes. So avocado salsa, a dip that has avocado and tomatoes in it (tomatillos in particular) gives you the best of both worlds.
Stir it into your pasta sauce
Don’t be scared to try this. The avocado flavours, combined with your favourite sauce, will blow your mind.
Slather it on a sandwich
Make your sandwich that much more flavourful by spreading a layer of avocado salsa onto your chicken or egg sandwich.
Fries or Veggie stick dip
You don’t need to use the traditionally common corn chips to enjoy this amazing dip. Fry some potato fries and dip ‘em. Or even better yet, cut up some celery and carrot sticks, and enjoy.
Guacaroni’n’cheese
If you are the type of person who’s always ready to try something new, don’t look further than this. A green mac and cheese, with all its great cheesiness coupled with that avocado richness.
The base for green pizza sauce
Pizza doesn’t always have to be a flatbread with red sauce, mozzarella, and a basil leaf. You can switch it up by changing the colours using tomatillos and avocado salsa.
Stir it into hummus
There is no question of whether it’s good or not, the only question is what should we call it, Guacamumus or Hummamole?
Green Grilled Cheese
Place a salsa layer on each bread slice, then top with cheese. Coat the outer slices of bread with butter (or mayo), then grill for about 2 minutes.
