It was a single recipe that began the Calypso brand. The original lemonade recipe was created in Wisconsin by the owner of the King Juice Company Inc. They wanted to make a delicious lemonade made with real lemons, so they came up with the recipe that is well loved throughout America! More and more people began to find out about their Original Lemonade. With this in mind, they decided to grow their products. They were inspired by both the popularity of the original, and the flavours and spirits of 'the islands'. Because of this, they named their brand Calypso in 2000, and developed four lemonade blends. Today, they now create more than fifteen different flavours of Calypso! But they are all still based on the original recipe, using only the best ingredients.
