Cap'n Crunch

The original Cap’n Crunch flavour was developed in 1963. Pamela Low recalled a recipe her grandmother made of brown sugar and butter. She described it as having a quality she called: ‘want-more-ishness’.

Because of this, she used the recipe to help create the cereal we all know and love today! Not to mention, it was one of the very first cereals in America and the world that used a sweet coating to deliver its flavour and maintain the crunchiness!

Now, there are many different types of Cap’n Crunch cereal available in the States and all over the world! From the famous Crunch Berries to the much-loved Peanut Butter Crunch. No wonder it’s so popular!
