Delivery Locations

American Food Mart offers standard delivery through Royal Mail Tracked 48 (3-5 working day delivery service) and Royal Mail/Parcel Force Tracked 24 for next day delivery orders placed before 10am from Monday to Friday. Orders after 10 am will be despatched the following day and should be delivered within 1 working day. Our free delivery over £50 (inc. VAT) offer is only available to mainland UK delivery addresses. We do not offer free shipping outside of the United Kingdom. Our free shipping offer only covers the cost of 1 parcel, up to 25kg in weight. If your order is large enough that it needs to be sent in multiple parcels, you may be asked to pay £5.99 for each additional parcel. If your order does not arrive within these time frames, please let us know at sales@americanfoodmart.co.uk 

‘Mainland UK excluding Highlands & Islands’ here is defined as all of mainland England (including Isle of Wight) and Wales and parts of Scotland.
We do ship to Europe, but European delivery will be agreed dependent on the haulage company being used and the country of delivery. Any European customers will be contacted accordingly to agree terms of shipping. All international orders will be sent via Parcelforce economy. Whilst we take every care to ensure that the products are delivered in a given time frame, we do not accept any liability if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances being out of our control.

HANDLING TIMES

We usually require 2-3 working days to process your order and get it ready to be sent out. However, during our busiest times it can take us between 3-5 working days (e.g., Summer Holidays, Black Friday & Christmas). Once your order has been sent out, you’ll receive a notification of your order being fulfilled and completed on our end ready to be dispatch via email from us Please contact us if you need your order urgently specifying when you would need your order. RETURNED ORDERS

If an order is returned to us as a result of a customer not being available to then receive their parcel on the delivery date or subsequently not planning to have their parcel redelivered or collected and it exceeds the courier’s time frame, the customer will be liable for the initial cost of delivery including any fees charged to us by the courier for the return of the parcel. In this case, once your order has been returned back to us, we will get in contact with you to offer either a refund of your order, minus the initial cost of delivery and any return to sender fees incurred, or re-dispatch your order at the cost of the delivery charge plus any return to sender fees incurred. You are entitled to a refund if goods are damaged or out of date. We do require pictures of goods if items are damaged. Please send images of products via our social media or by email.

HEAT DAMAGE TO ORDERS

uring the hot weathers exposure to high temperatures affects all food products to some degree. Various types of candy can melt, including chocolate, caramels, marshmallows, and gelatine-based gummies. We can’t guarantee heat-sensitive candies will arrive in perfect shape, but we will do our best to have this under control. Although we can guarantee that the products will not leave our warehouse melted, we cannot guarantee that a hot delivery van, sorting office or a hot bask on your doorstep will not result in a melted order. In case your good are affected by high temperatures, we will be willing to supply you with a exchange but we cannot guarantee that the exchange will not be effected.
